Quadra Fire Pellet Stoves were previously manufactured by by Quadra-Fire, Aladdin Steel Products and Dovre, but currently the Quadra-Fire brand is one of the brands in the Hearth and Home Technologies family brands, the world's leading producer and installer of hearth products. Quadra Fire Pellet Stoves as all stoves by Quadra-Fire utilize the Quadra-Burn system that burns and re-burns gases and smoke in four different zones of the firebox. This unique technology sets a new standard for clean and fuel- efficient heating using wood, wood pellets, and biomass fuel. The system was developed and patented in 1985, after the Clean-Air Act took effect, which put a great number of wood stove manufactures out of business.

Quadra Fire pellet stoves currently come in two different designs: free standing stoves and wood pellet burning inserts. All Quadra Fire pellet stoves come in four different sizes and there're currently four different models available: Castile, Classic Bay 1200, Santa Fe, and Mt. Vernon AE. The former three are medium size stoves capable of heating areas between 1,500 and 2,500 square feet, producing between 30,000 and 40,000 BTUs. The latter one, Mt. Vernon AE, is an extra-large cast-iron pellet/bio-fuel stove capable of heating spaces up to 3,800 square feet and producing 60,000 BTUs.

Quadra Fire pellet stoves come as cast-iron stoves or more contemporary styles; they all have variable heat settings and can be equipped with powerful fans to move heat around your room or house. Most of the models have programmable wall thermostats and remote control options.
