Drolet Wood Stoves are produced by Canadian family-owned company. The Drolet Company was started in 1875 by Francois-Xavier Drolet as a mechanical shop. As his business rapidly grew, the mechanical shop turned into a modern factory in 1908 and later into the enterprise dedicated to the design, manufacturing, and marketing of heating appliances, which are sold all around the world.

Drolet wood stoves can come in three different designs: free standing units, wood burning inserts, and wood burning furnaces. Even though inserts and furnaces are presented in the list of products, they're currently only one model each, but the range of free standing Drolet wood stoves is really wide, including such popular models as Compak, Savannah, Classic, and Myriad.

The wood burning insert available at Drolet is the "Escape 1400-I' model with the maximum heat output of 65,000 BTU, and equipped with the heat-activated 130 CFM blower and the air-wash system. The wood burning furnace available at Drolet is the "Hotblast 1400" model. It's built from heavy gauge steel and equipped with two blowers and an integrated bi-metallic thermostat. The maximum heat output of Hotblast 1400 is 114,000 BTU and it's equipped with a full-length ash pan that will reduce time you need to spend for cleaning it. The furnace can be optionally equipped with the induced draft kit and the cold air return enclosure.

Free standing models from the range of Drolet wood stoves share the same premium quality and high efficiency as all heating devices produced by Drolet. Some models of Drolet wood stoves can be mounted on a pedestal and some models are suitable and approved for mobile houses. Depending on a model, Drolet wood stoves can have some or all of these features: the air-wash system, ultra-quiet cross-flow blowers with variable speed controls, very low clearances for combustible materials, and an easy to access ash drawer.
